Lakmé is well aware of the situation that our sector is going to face and the difficulties that it may pose for your stylists and clients. You’ll soon have to adapt your spaces, equipment, staff management and the way you work to this new reality.
We’re with you in this mission and we have created this document to convert the salons into spaces that comply with the new safety and hygiene protocols. Turn the salons into a COVID-FREE place:
STRATEGIC CHANGES IN YOUR SALON: Offer services only by appointment, keep the timing for each client and give them information about their safety.
RECEPTION: It’s the client’s first impression. The hygiene and safety are basic in this area. As well as the use of masks, safety distance and a new payment method with card etc.
WORK SPACES: Leave 2 meters between clients, the use of hydroalcoholic solutions and daily disinfection and ventilation will be very important.
PERSONAL PROTECTION: It is important to use disposable material, not to share tools and disinfect utensils between each use.
INDIVIDUAL PROTECTION FOR PROFESSIONALS: Regular hand washing, maintain safety distances and the use of gloves and masks will be very common in this new stage.
PRODUCTS AND SALES AREA: Cleanliness takes centre stage. The salon, its materials and products must be cleaned and disinfected daily.
RECEPTION OF ORDERS FROM SUPPLIERS must be contact-free.
WASTE MANAGEMENT: Trash cans must have a lid and a pedal and use internal plastic bags in all garbage containers which have to be removed daily.
SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS: Therefore, safety will be the first thing where basic topics such as frequent hand washing, safety distance, use of gloves and masks, avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth and cover your mouth when coughing are recommended.
